This Rumple family previously spelled Runkle makes me curious. I have been
searching Rumple and have trouble finding them. Was Runkle a common mispelling
for Rumple or are these 2 different families?

When I am looking at census records and I can't find it under the correct name
I try looking different ways. I found that record by looking under the 1st
name Shepard in Mercer county. I found my Beaghler relatives listed as
Bouchles,Beithler etc. I found my Hammitt relatives under Harmount. Between
the census workers who spelled the names wrong and the people who transcribed
the census records the names get all screwed up.
