I think a person could take a pen and write on a label sticker and put it on
back.
Or maybe type your message on a paper and use paste as stick paste and put on
back ;
Put any sticker's on back off to side, on very bottom, or at top close to a
corner without damages to picture.. Also another item can use acid free paper
for a sticker with a acid free paste.
