I'm replying to the list here so that we might all put our heads
together.
*If Charlotte was born in England in 1828 that would put her at 12 in
the 1840 census. The 1840 census only listed head of households. I
seriously doubt that she was the head of the household at age 12.
*Next point where did she marry Mr. BATTRICK? She may have been living
with her parents or they may have been near by. I'd ck both the 1850 and
the 1860 census for DOLE's in that county--was in Morgan??? you didn't
state where they married.
*If she died in Ashtabula Co in 1906, have you tried getting a death
certificate or death record for her from that county? That might answer
all your questions.

If anyone else has any thoughts, I'm sure Jim would be glad to hear
them.
