Jemima DeWitt b. perhaps c. 1779 Frankford Township, Sussex County, New
Jersey daughter of Isaac DeWitt and Jerusha Price, m. 3 Sept 1799 (Sussex
County marriage record) by Zachariah Price, justice of the peace, at her
parent's home, Richard Swift of Pennsylvania b. c. 1778 son of Isaac Swift.
Enumerated in Middle Smithfield township, Monroe County, Pennsylvania in
1800 with one male child under age 10. Removed to Seneca County, New York
and were enumerated there in 1810. Richard d. 6 Oct 1815 37y by the fall of
a tree (ts), buried City Hill Cemetery, town of Torrey, Yates County, New
York. Jemima m. 18 Dec 1818 (Know County, Ohio marriage record) (2)Benjamin
Pittman, as his second wife, b. 1 Apr 1780 Bedford County, Pennsylvania son
of Joseph Pittman and Rebecca Graham. Benjamin m. (1)Sarah Stephens
daughter of Abednego Stephens and had children, Abednego b. 16 Feb 1804,
Joseph d. young in Pennsylvania, Sarah b. 26 May 1809 m. Henry DeWitt,
William, Thomas, and Rebecca. Sarah d. 2 Aug 1818 40y (ts) Blair North Fork
Cemetery, Franklin township, Morrow County, Ohio. Benjamin was still
residing in Knox County in July 1835 when John Gates and wife deeded (O:62)
32 acres and 137 perches to Benjamin. Jemima d. perhaps 1837 buried
Silverbrook Cemetery, Niles, Michigan, marker inscribed "J. Pittman A 59"
meaning she was age 59 at her death. This is lot 16 (old grounds) which
Benjamin Pittman purchased. Benjamin m. (3)Mary Jane Whitaker
Hollingsworth. Benjamin, farmer, enumerated 1840 census of Niles, Berrien
County, Michigan. Benjamin d. 21 Apr 1864 buried Oakwood Cemetery,
Plymouth, Cerro Gordo County, Iowa.

310. Richard Swift b. c. 1800.
311. James Swift b. 5 Dec 1802.
312. Hiram Swift b. c. 1812.
313. Benton Swift b. c. 1813.

Children of Benjamin and Jemima:
314. Margaret Pittman.
315. Drucilla Pittman.
316. Jemima Jane Pittman b. 28 Nov 1825 Fredericktown, Knox County, Ohio.

Interested in any information on Margaret, Drucilla, and Jemima Jane Pittman
and any other possible siblings.
