Hi, just joined your list due to a possible breakthrough in my fruitless
search for Emma COE, born in the 1830's, who later married James HOADLEY and
had at least 1 child, Emily Ann HOADLEY, who was born in Crawford Co. Ohio.
Emma and James are not found in any records OR cemeteries in Crawford Co, so
must have been there only a short time. Were there any HOADLEY families in
Morrow Co also? The only information I had to start with was Emily Ann
Hoadley McKean Baughman's death certificate.

The Albin/Alben Coe family below was shared by another researcher, and due
to the close proximity, I feel there is a good chance that this can be my
Emma COE.

Albin or Alben Coe Sr. was son of William Coe and Elizabeth Gore.

Albin Coe b. 2-4-1799 in Frederick County, Virginia. He married
Margaret (Ruth) Nichols (1808-1848)on 9-6-1821, daughter of Nathan and
Sarah (Thomas) Nichols of Round Hill, Loudoun County, Virginia. After Ruth's
father died, her mother and 2 brothers John and Albert Nichols moved to
Ohio. Albin had moved to Ohio with the family. He settled in Gilead Township
in Morrow County, Ohio. Albin and Margaret's farm was on the
Delaware-Mansfield Road in Morrow County. They had 4 children: Ross, Martha,
Albin Jr. and Emma.
(1). Ross Coe b. 1829
(2). Martha Coe b. 1831
(3). Albin Coe Jr. b. 1835-- m. Rebecca ________ b. 1835 in Ohio, her
parents came from Pennsylvania. In 1880 Albin lived in Perry Township,
Morrow County, Ohio. They had 4 children: Laura b. 1863, Claude b.1868,
Glenn b. 1869 and Nevada b. 1877
(4). Emma Coe b. 1839 or earlier?

Any and all clues or lookups appreciated, for Emma Coe and James Hoadley.
