My great grandparents were Jonathon John Karl and Anna Marie Weaver. Their first born son was Ferdinand William Karl. He was born on 8/19/1894 in Sparta, Ohio. His brother and my grandfather Maurice George Karl was born on 8/21/1896 in Margos, Ohio (according to his obituary). I am trying to verify the place of my grandfather's birth. I am also trying to locate the Catholic church where he and his brother were baptized. So far, I have been unsuccessful. Has anyone out there ever heard of a place called Margos?
