Most of my papers are packed due to a move but hope to get them out soon. Charles and Rebecca moved to Congress Township, Morrow Cty., Ohio. It was originally Knox Cty but was taken in when Morrow Cty was formed.
My ancester is Jane Hull who married John A. Byrd in Ohio and then moved to Dekalb Cty., Mo. They had one child, Miles Amos Byrd and he and his Mother moved back to Ohio around 1870 when Miles was three years old. THere was no mention of John so don't know if he died, was divorced or just went west! John fought in the Civil War and enlisted at Camp Chase in Columbus, Ohio. His Regiment was Regular Ohio 95th Co. K and he was captured in Guntown, Ms 6/10/1864. He was kept prisoner at Andersonville Prison in Ga. and was released after the was. Have found no trace of him after that.
The Hulls moved to Ohio in 1827 and had Jane 1827, Milton 1829, Lydia 1832, Thomas 1835 ( who moved also to Mo), Nelson 1836, Claude 1842.
Hope this helps you. If you find any other information would you be kind enough to share it with me?
