I have posted on the website listed below copies of 4 pages from the 1895
Biographical History of Delaware, Morrow and Union Counties . It's an
excellent reference and contains many family histories from that area. Just
click on the links listed below and it should take you to the images
automatically. The images are somewhat large but should be quite readable.
There is only one reference to Mary Ashton shown in the index (page 199) and
as you will see by reading the attachments, it's just a brief mention. I
included the rest of the biography containing her name and the referenced
article on Thomas Wood as well. There are no other Ashton listings or
references in the 1895 History.
The reference to Mary Ashton occurs in the second file(ashton2).

A search of the six tombstone inscription books covering all of Morrow
county shows only one Ashton.
Morrow County, Ohio; Tombstone Inscriptions; Volume 5; Harmony, Chester,
Bennington, and South Bloomfield Townships.
Marengo Cemetery; Bennington Township; Morrow County, Ohio
Ashton, Children of James Ashton, Chrystal. (There are no dates nor any
names.)
Jonathan and Mary Wood are buried in the Quakerdom Cemetery.
Morrow County, Ohio; Tombstone Inscriptions; Volume 6; Gilead and Franklin
Townships.
Quakerdom Cemetery; Gilead Township; Morrow County, Ohio.
Wood, Jonathan died, 11mo 25, 1863 62y 2m 27d
Wood, Mary died 2nd mo 8 1873 63y 10m 27d
I hope this helps

The family of Thomas Ashton settled in Morrow County in early 1800's. One
of his children, Mary Ashton, who married Jonathan Wood, Jr. is listed in
the 1895 county history on two pages. Is there someone who could lookup
these two items in the book on Mary and send them to me?
Also, anyone who has information on Thomas and family, I would most
appreciate hearing from you. I am sure some are buried in Morrow County.
Here is the family constellation:
