According to the obit of my 2nd great granduncle, Mahlon Gano, he bought the William Marvin house on Marion Street in 1888. Does anyone know if this house is still standing? According to his obit he was a wealthy retired farmer, so I'm wondering if it is one of the big old houses still on that beautiful stretch of street. Hope someone knows.
