Subject: CHESS in Ohio

I just received my gg grandmother's death cert. It lists her mother as Jennie
Chess...and her father as Elashia Johnson....in the 1850 Muskingum Co there is
a an Elijah and Jane Johnson...I'm sure now that they are my ggg
grandparents....I have never heard the surname Chess before...does anyone have
access to an 1830-1850 Census for Muskingum???Hoping to find
Chess...thanks...Susan...
