Robert Beatty-Matilda White 23 July 1826
Mary Beatty-Lloyd White 10mar 1829

This ia a working on manuscript-not proven but some Whites I am working
on in our line.

Lloyd White married Mary Beatty 10 March 1829 in Muskingum Co., Ohio.
Lloyd White is mentioned several times on the sale bill of John Beatty
in 1830 in Muskingum co, Ohio.  I believe this Mary Beatty is the
daughter of John Beatty.  I have been trying to trace this family
without much success and I think I finally found them.  The
name Lloyd is not a common given name in the White family-believe me.

1850 Jackson county, Ohio-Jackson Twp.
227-227 Loyed White 47 farmer VA
Mary 48 (nee Beatty I'm hoping) VA
Jane 18 Ohio
Albert 17 Ohio
James 15 Ohio
Edward 13 Ohio
Maryann 10 Ohio
Lydia A. 8 Ohio
Wm. L. 3 Ohio

1860 Sciota Co., Ohio-Jefferson Twp. (very difficult to read)
290-290 Albert White 30 laborer Ohio

Louisa 6/12 Ohio

291-291 Loyd White 58 farmer VA
Mary 55 VA
James 28 laborer Ohio
Jane 27 Oh
James 23 Oh Oh
Edward 21 Oh
Mary 18 Oh
Lydia 16 Oh
Wm. 14 Oh

This White family may be the same family as Alfred White who married
Matilda Wyatt 10 Mar. 1831 in Muskingum co., Ohio.  This may be
connected to the Andrew White (Revol. War) family of Triadelelphia twp.
of Ohio co., WV and Belmont co., Ohio. This family also had land in Wash.
co. PA right on the WVA line.  Would appreciate knowing of any
information on this White family. Especially Alfred and Lloyd White.
This is the White information I have. The Nancy and Elizabeth
Cecil/Sissel who marry into this white line are sisters of John B. and
Sarah Beatty Sissel who married in Meigs co., OH and were in Musk. co.,
Oh by 1830. Donna

"This was a well-known family in the early part of the 19th century.
Three
brothers, William, Craven and John Coe came to Winchester from Maryland
by
way of Loudoun County. John remained but a short time;sold his interest
in
a lot of ground to his brother William, where they started the
celebrated
Coe's tavern. John, after accumulating considerable property, including
a
farm near Winchester, sold out and went, first to Baltimore, then to
Tennessee.

William purchased a large farm in the N. West part of Frederick, where
he
and his brother Craven Coe lived for many years. Craven survived his
brother. (more of later generations, etc.)"DKS

This family is probably buried on Andrew White's land he received for
Revolutionary War service in Ohio co. WVA Triadelphia Twp. The present
owner of the land took up all the stones and threw them in a pile and
will not allow anyone on the land to check the stones. Many people have
tried because Andrew's Rev. War status needs to have burial verified and
all states publish Rev. War graves.
