Rev. LUDWICK closed a series of meetings at Mt. Carmel, Wednesday night.

Mrs. E.C. THORLA was called to Zanesville by the illness and death of her
mother, Mrs. William HOMMAN.

Joe CARR has moved to Caldwell and will work in the mine.

Miss Norma TILDEN has gone to Columbus for an extended visit.

C.W. BLACKBURN and daughter Erma visited Howard BLACKBURN's, of
Woodgrove, Saturday.

J.C. DICKINSON's are having the flu.
*****

Born to Lyman REED and wife, a daughter.
*****

Mrs. Roy HAMMOND and daughters visited her sister, Mrs. HILL, of
Caldwell, recently.
*****

Will OGAN received a message announcing the death of his son, Ivan, who
was wounded in France, October 10, and died two days later.
*****

Church RAMAGE was called to Malta by the death of his daughter, Mrs. Will
MARTIN.
*****

Carl REX has the mumps.
*****

Protracted meeting will begin at this place Tuesday night.
*****

Will OGAN and wife and C.W. BLACKBURN and wife visited J.H. KNIGHT's last
Wednesday.
*****

Ivan JORDAN still continues very poorly.
*****

Mrs. Lucinda DYE is very sick.
