Anybody researching John Brown Jr. and Wife, Wealthy Hotchkiss who lived on South Bass Island ? He owned a vineyard on the Island. His father was "THE" John Brown who made a name for himself by raiding Harpers Ferry, Virginia in 1858 and ended up on the end of a rope !!! The Government couldn't prove that John Jr, helped his father on that raid.
