Hi Ottawa County researchers,

My ancestors of Ottawa County are as follows:

Henry HYDE (1785-1866) and his wife Sarah HILL (1787-1830) and their
children.
Jacob BROWN (1807-1886) and his wife Harriet HYDE (1808-1852) and
children.
The HYDEs were original settlers on Put-In-Bay (1818), and later lived on
Catawba Island, and then Portage Township. The BROWNs were also in
Portage Township by 1830 - leaving there by 1854 for Michigan.

Also in the area were Nathan LAWRENCE (1772-about 1840) who married
Charity VANNATTER (about 1800 to 1866) in the "Sandusky Bay" area about
1818.
