Penny,
The land is listed as 15 acres in Monroe Twp. and valued at 1500 dollars.
This was in a court record dated 23 August 1915 for Della Niceswander.
However 21 December 1917 says land consists of 60 1/2 acres very poor
quality on South Powell Creek with a morgage of 2600 dollars with value at
4000 dollars.
Is that also Monroe Twp. do you know??

Greeting all,
Just back from a trip that way, but ran out of time and money so was unable
to search for the grave of my great uncle who it is said on his wife's
pension file to have died in Wisterman. I have copy of funeral card but it
does not list funeral home address or name. Simply says Rufus Niceswander
b.July 15, 1856 d.Nov 20,1908 age 52yrs 4mo 5days.
Would sure like to find where he was buried. His granddaughter was with me
on this trip and felt so dissapointed that we didn't find him.
