Hi Mary,

I don't know of a Sheronsville, Ohio but there is a very small community
called Shanesville on State Route 39 on the western edge of Sugar Creek
Township, Tuscarawas County, Ohio. There is also the city of Sharonville
which is a rather major suburb of Cincinnati in the northern part of Hamilton
County, Ohio. Sharonville dates from 1788 and as such was here during the
time frame of interest to you.

Most of the formal records for the area would be found in the Probate Court
of Hamilton County, located in downtown Cincinnati. Also, the Public Library
of Cincinnati & Hamilton County is a major repository for Genealogical data
-- in fact, its ranked number 5 in the country in that category. The Hamilton
County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society is also very active and has
played a major role in the acquisition of materials for/by the Library. This
Chapter of OGS should be able to assist you in finding data on your relatives
that lived in this area. Their Home Page is http://members.aol.com/ogshc.
