Following is the contact information for Centerville, Montgomery County,
Ohio. ...Donna
~~~~~~~~~~ Section #1:
Library - Centerville's Library (separate from/not connected to the
Montgomery County Library):
Washington-Centerville Public Library (Branch #1)
111 W Spring Valley Road
Centerville, OH 45458
(937) 435-3700
Washington-Centerville Public Library (Branch #2)
6060 Far Hills Ave
Centerville, OH 45459
(937) 435-3700
They do not have a website yet (per my call today), but are accessible via
modem. Set your modem to (937) 433-8008, but this is for a book search.
(This sounds complicated.)
I called the library and they said 1- that you would be wise to go to your
local library to reach them by modem 2- They have over thirty local
genealogy books, but your best bet may be the Historical Society 3- They
have no books specifically on a Martin Talcott at the library & you should
check with the Historical Society to see what they have on a specific name.
~~~~~~~~~~~~ Section #2
Centerville Historical Society
89 W Franklin St
Centerville, OH 45459
(937) 433-0380
Note: You might ask them if the Montgomery Co Historical Society would have
anything.
~~~~~~~~~~~~ Section #3
Also check with the Main Montgomery County Library, as they cover all areas
and have many vitals on film, lots of early things - plus tons of books on
the area.
Dayton Montgomery County Library
215 E Third St
Dayton, OH 45402
(937) 227-9500
