Hi...
Saw your posting. My POWELL (my maternal grandfather) is Clarence Leslie
Powell who is also purported to be Welsh, not sure how far back. His parents
were Renaldo Erskine Powell (nicknamed Riley) and Saphrona/Saphronia Agnes
Buchanan. No information on either one.. would love to find someone who
knows about them. My grandfather was born in 1886 in Pike County, Ohio....
