Robert and Thomas Fairbrother's parents may have been Arthur and Sarah Fairbrother. Robert's obituary states that he lived in Ohio as a child. This would probably have been during the 1820s and/or 1830s. Also, in the obituary, a step-father, named "Harrington" is mentioned as survivng Robert. The obituary leeaves the impression the Robert's biological father died in Ohio and that his mother married his step-father there. Robert and Thomas return to NY and marry there. Robert remains in NY (Steuben County), but Thomas moves to Alleghan County, MI.

I would love to hear from anyone with information about the Fairbrothers stay in Ohio.
