Searching for a connection between Harriet BARCLAY and Joseph H. BARCLAY, as possible brother and sister.
And also possibly being the children of Nancy (Unknown) BARCLAY and a possible spouse Thomas BARCLAY.

Harriet (BARCLAY ) REED, b abt 1815 OH, married Nathan REED.
Joseph H. BARCLAY, m Elizabeth TITUS (b 1810-1815 Muskingum Co., OH)

Both couples were married two weeks apart in January, 1835, Muskingum Co., Adams, OH.

Harriet (BARCLAY) REED and her spouse Nathan REED are listed on the 1850 Muskingum, Adams OH
census, with a Nancy BARCLAY (age 69?,b PA) living alone in the next household.

Thomas BARCLAY is listed on the 1830 census for Muskingum, Adams, OH and then disappears.
A Thomas BARCLAY, possibly the same man, taught school in the first school house in Adams Twp
somewhere between 1821 and 1828.

A Nancy BARCLAY and an Elizabeth TITUS were both listed as members of the Bethesda Methodist Church.

Joseph H. BARCLAY was a Justice of the Peace and prepared, and is named, in several legal documents
relating to the TITUS family, including executor to Francis TITUS.

To add to the confusion, there is also a Thomas BARCLAY/BARKLEY in Washington, Co., OH as early as 1797 and last appears on the 1820 Washington Co. Census.
This Thomas BARCLAY/BARKLEY and spouse Elizabeth KIRKPATRICK, came from Martic Twp, Lancaster Co., PA. 5 of their 8 children died in Washington Co. OH.

I am mentioning the Thomas BARCLAY of Washington Co. OH, in case there are any listers who have additional
information about BARCLAY ancestors in PA, who might tie to Harriet (BARCLAY) REED and Joseph H. BARCLAY.
