Hi...

I have been researching the Batten family...specifically Daniel Hodges
who had a son named Matthew Daniel Batten by Nancy Batten. Matthew was
born Mar 3, 1881 in Charlton Co, GA and died Sept 1924. He married a
woman named Catherine Lucretia Bennett and they had at least 7
children....What I found was this: after Matthew's death, Catherine
remarried and she remarried to a Thomas C. Coleman(born: ? in
Ohio)....and this is what I discovered....I found them in Ohio....I only
found them when I went looking for one of the sons, Clyde Batton....I
found them in the 1930 census for Champaign Co, OH....living in
Mechanicsburg Village , living in Gishen(?) Twnsp. Thomas and Katherine
had three other children, named Tommie(3 yrs) (Daughter), Billie(3yrs)
and Martha(2yrs)....
Her children that are living with her are Clyde, Kermit, Nancy K, and
Mary W.
If anyone can help me with any more information on this family...I would
appreciate the help.....I would like to know when Thomas born, when he
died, when Katherine (Catherine or Lucretica) died and where....the
children....any info would be helpfiul....
