Hi,

I just posted an old newspaper article about 3 murder suspects being arrested in Ripley, Ohio (Brown Co.). They were thought to have murdered farmer Chris HOWARD of Kentucky. The suspects' names were Charles RAMSEY, Thomas HARRIS, and ? BARKLEY.

I don't know if the suspects were in Ripley because they lived there, or because that's just as far as they got when trying to elude the law.

This was scanned from an original issue (NOT microfilm!) of the Cleveland Leader newspaper (Cleveland, OH) dated April 16, 1877, and you can see it online here:
