I don't think my last post went through I think I got disconnected. Hmmm
anyway.. What harm is there in requesting the information. If you're doing genealogy, you have plenty to keep you busy till you get an answer either way.
I don't know that someone from 1952's birth certificates are available to just anyone especially if they are live. I don't know the rules on living persons.
What I do is..... I have a binder separated by ITEMS TO BE REQUESTED...... ITEMS REQUESTED........ ITEMS RECEIVED....... ITEMS NOT FOUND.
then when I request something I make a photo copy of the email, letter, application etc. and put it in the "requested" portion and go about my business. Shoot half the time I forget what I've ordered. next thing I know one day something arrives in the mail.. if you get a reply back, NOT FOUND well you put that in that specific section and at aleast you know where it ISN'T and can go on.
Nothing ventured is nothing gained. What else you gonna do, give up on looking?
Janean
