Looking for any information on these names.

David Risdon, 1788 to 1854, was very active in Seneca County History. He
was at one time a postmaster and was a surveyor in the County. He married
Elizabeth Baltzell, who died in Seneca County abt 1843.

Johann Martin Zeiss had four sons who settled in Seneca County. Jacob,
Daniel, Godfried and Christopher. These four and their various sons, and
they were numerous, branched out to Wisconsin and Iowa. Some retained
their Zeiss name, one took Zaiss and several took CEIS. Any information
would be appreciated.
