Hi Steve & Donna,
Hope you don't mind, but I am sending a copy of this to the list, in
case anyone else sees any possible connections.

Charles Kirian was the son of Ernest & Elizabeth (Shockman) Kirian, who
were in Reed twp., Seneca Co. by 1850. Shortly after that they were in
Frenchtown, Big Springs Twp., Seneca Co. There the family remained for
many years.

Ernest was born in Westphalia, Prussia 29 Oct, 1810. He & Elizabeth were
most likely married there. Their oldest son Anthony (who m. Victoria
Warnament) was most likely born there. The rest of their children were
born in Ohio. They were Conrad (m. Mary Deiderik), Charles (m. Mary Eva
Thom 16 Jan 1872. Mary Eva was dau. of Karl Charles & Marie Eva Waver),
Morts (m. Mary Mathias), Mary (prob. m. Michael March), Elizabeth, and
Henry (m. Victoria)

The real authority on the Kirians is Mary Ann (Kirian) Payne
()
She has most of the Kirians documented to about 1950-60.
