I'm disappointed and confused. . .from a previous query, I received the
following info from Ken and others:

. Marriages of Seneca County, Ohio, 1841-1899, by Jean Seigley.

Michale Kin m. Mary Just, under age 18, Feb. 6, 1855. Citation 4-332. #GR
Signed Kin Mitchell. Consent of FA. (# indicates that the information came
from the Marriage License volumes.) (FA = Father).

KIN, JOHN m. LAMBERJACK, MAGGIE May 28, 1889

I recently mailed a request to the Seneca co. probate court, for copies of
these marriages. I even called them prior to sending, to get the proper
address, fees, etc. I was told 2.00 per look/up copy, and to send a SASE.

Yesterday I received my SASE with a receipt for the $4.00 check I mailed and
a note jotted on the request that included the above information, that they
couldn't locate either marriage.

This was my first attempt to get probate records by mail. Before I call or
mail again, any suggestions? I'm in PA so an in person visit is rather a
challenge.
