Seek information concerning Allen surname in 1820-1840 time period. Trying to locate parents and background of Eliza or Elizabeth Allen. Have this information:
MARRIED: 3 July 1837, to James McClintock Viers in Medina County, Ohio (Vol. A pg. 156). (Also see: LDS International Genealogical Index (IGI) Batch #7916504-61 and Batch #8722302-36)...BORN: 1816 PLACE: Pennsylvania (according to census)..DIED: 22 Sep 185(?) (year of death illegible on tombtone)...PLACE OF DEATH: Summit County, Ohio...BURIED: 185(?).. PLACE: Glendale Cemetery, Akron, Summit County, Ohio.

As Stark County was the parent county of Medina County, I can only hope that an Allen living in that area in 1820-1840 time period who came to Stark County from Pennsylvania might be known to have a daughter by the name of Eliza or Elizabeth Allen, born ca 1816, and be identified as Eliza (Allen) Viers' parent(s).

Any clues would be helpful.
