Wow. The Raff I am researching is probably of the Raffensberger's from
Franklin County Pa. There are a lot of them there. My Elizabeth states on
the Ohio 1860 census she is a native of Pa and her husband ( I just completed
his line) was from St. Thomas, Franklin Co. Pa. There were Eastern Cherokee,
Coctow, and Delaware in that area. My one big clue is the repetition of the
name Lucinda in the family. I have a hunch my Elizabeth might have another
name and also I think she may have been born Howe, married a Raff then a
Brindle. But that is speculation on my part. GoodLuck. Mary Helen
