This book is available at Amazon.com if anyone is interested. Am looking
forward to reading it as this is about the time that my family came from CT
to Trumbull Co. Ohio, thanks for bringing it to my attention.

I recently came across this book mentioned in a message board post from
several years ago and bought a copy. For anyone else who hasn't seen it I
would recommend it as a very interesting account of a young girls journey by
wagon from Milford, Connecticut to Warren, Ohio. Margaret Dwight was
keeping a journal of the trip for a cousin who remained in CT and provides
very descriptive narrative of the trail conditions, lodgings, people met
along the way (some by name) and the hardships encountered. She traveled
with the Wolcott family and married a William Bell in Warren. "A Journey to
Ohio in 1810: As Recorded in the Journal of Margaret Van Horn Dwight" by
Authors: Margaret Van Horn Dwight , Max Farrand , Jay Gitlin Released:
November, 1991 ISBN: 0803265891 Paperback
