Since I was born in Washington County and have noticed a migration of
both sides of my family from Louisa County, Virginia and other
counties in WV to the Ohio counties of Vinton and Washington, I am
writing to both lists.

The other day I found a message from Pam Napper regarding Napper
research on a message board of Family Search.
I am not sure what I can add, but there is so much similarity in my
ancestors that we should email.


My Dalton below came from Dolton and/or Dorton as you mentioned. They
are from the Mongahalia area along with marrying into Cade from the
Vinton County area. Now I'm amazed to see that my Nappers from Louisa
County, VA might be over there, too. A resettlement or migration
because of discrimination is a possibility.

Anyone else that can shed a light on some of these names, it will be
appreciated.
And I'll look forward to hearing from you, Pam.
