Regarding the commonly available "Distribution of Estate of Israel Bebout,"
Part of this group is MINE and I cannot find several of them or their
ancestors. Any help will bring beaming smiles and warm and fuzzy feelings in
my household.

About the Distribution of Estate of Israel Bebout:
The following was submitted by John E. Mellick of Merritt Island, FL for
inclusion at the Genealogy in Washington Co., PA web site in March 1998.

John writes:
I recently received from Beverly Lange, a Bebout researcher of Pullman
WA, a photocopy of the Distribution of Estate of Israel Bebout, who died
intestate in Paris, Washington Co PA in 1895.

INTESTATE ADMINISTRATORS ACCOUNT, VOL 34 PAGES 543-544, WASHINGTON CO. PA.
(AUDIT BOOK 1 PAGE 194)

ISRAEL BEBOUT born 1810 died Aug. 30, 1895 Paris PA.
DISTRIBUTION OF THE ESTATE AS FOLLOWS: (several names deleted by me)

9-JOHN BEBOUT, (deceased) heirs,
a)- Stewart Bebout, Waterford, Ohio;
b) -James Bebout, (not ascertained);
c) -John Bebout, (not ascertained);
D) -Benjamin Bebout, Logan, Ohio;
E) -Mary Jane Austin, Monticello, Ind.;
F) -Elizabeth Bushfield, (not ascertained);
G) -Thomas Bebout, 212 Grove Alley, East Liverpool Ohio;
Can anyone help me find info on any of them?
What I know is about those listed above:
9-John BEBOUT the father, married Mary HAWLEY, the mother, in western PA I
know little about them as individuals and would welcome any help possible.
Their kids:
A- Stewart BEBOUT was my 2g grandfather who married Minerva WATERS and lived
in Waterford, OH Washington county. She died in 1894 in Waterford and he went
to live with his son W.S. Bebout in Wheeling WV. where he died.
c)- John BEBOUT to the best of my knowledge, he was in the Civil War and was
buried in Springfield, Mo. in the veterans cemetery. Suppoesedly married a
woman (perhaps "Anna" ) who became a doctor after he died. They had a
daughter "Jennie" (Maude?) who was supposed to have been a nurse in Chicago.
The mother died about 3 NOV 1911 in St. Louis

The rest are confirmed to be my kin but I know nothing about them---can you
