From 1870 Washington County, OH Census:

DIANA and AMANDA BIGGINS (age 15 and 13 - both born in IN) are living with
ANDREW and MARY STOKES. ANDREW 56, born in PA, and MARY 53, born in OH.

There is a JOSEPH STOKES, 36, born in PA, carpenter, living with ELIZABETH
STOKES, 33, born in OH, and CHARLES W. STOKES, 14, born in OH.

Hello List! I'm trying to find information on the parents/families of the
following men : Thomas Wesley Biggins, Brazil B. Biggins, Samuel Biggins and
Andrew J. "Charles" Stokes. "Wesley" was my 3g-grandfather who died outside
of Savannah during the Civil War. He and Brazil enlisted in the 63rd OVI on
the same day in Palmer Twp, Washington County. Brazil was seriously wounded
at Corinth, MS. Mr. Stokes was given guardianship of Wes' 4 children, I
believe he was Wes' brother-in-law. There are also references to John D.
Biggins and a William Biggins who went to Indiana with Wes ~1850. Wes
married 1) Amanda Wardlow & had 3 daughters and 2) Sarah Jane Willey Garner
and had my 2g-grandfather, Charles Wesley Biggins. Amanda died in 1857 and
Sarah died before 1860. Wes is listed in the 1860 OH Census with his 4
children & no wife. Thanks for any help...
