Ira was the only one of the children whose name I was able to read in this
census entry. My usual source for 1900 images is Genealogy.com, but for
this one I also checked Ancestry's and that one was even worse. At any
rate, this is my best interpretation, and admittedly, mostly guesswork:

1900 Cleveland County, Oklahoma Territory - Canadian Township - June 19,
1900 - page 13
247 - Ray, Harris, head; Jan or Jun 1841, age 58?; married/35 years; born
AR, parents born MS; Farmer/renting farm #42
Lucy, wife; Apr 1850, age 50; 10 children/7 living; self and
parents born AL
Ira, son; Sep 1880, age 19; born TX; Farm labor
_____, son; Feb? 1884, age 15; born TX; Farm labor; attended
school/3 months
Treence?, dau; Sep 1885, age 14; born TX; attended school/5
months
Inus, son; Nov 1891, age 9; born TX; attended school/5 months

Good luck in your search in spite of my shortcomings,

> Searching for Harris Thaddis Ray and Ira Ray and family. Ira was born in
1880, and was married in Cleveland county in December 1900 - probably in
Lexington or the vicinity. His father was Harris Thaddis Ray (I think). I
am guessinthat he was still living at home with parents at the time of the
census.

> In the U.S., a census has been taken every 10 years from 1790 through
1990. All censuses taken after 1920 are still confidential and the
information they contain is not open to the public. The census from
> 1790 through 1840 only named the head of the household and the numbers of
people in categories - 3 males over 16, 2 males under 16, etc. The census
from 1850 through 1920 lists each member of the household and usually gives
the relationship to the head of the house. It also gives age (later years
give birth month and year) and place of birth (usually just the state or
foreign country). The 1890 census was almost totally destroyed by fire so
there is a 20 year gap between 1880 and 1900.
