Hello, My great uncle, James Madison Nichols and Emma (Bronson) left Iowa in
1865 with Fred John Wolfe and children, (Wagon train) My great grandfather.
They were all living in or around Altus-Olustee-Willow- Magnum and by the
Red river. Also in the clan were Montgomery's who were born in Ohio and
lived in SD then Minn, later TX and OK. My father was Born in Olustee, OK in
1906 (Fred John Johnson). Some of the Nichols stayed in Vernon TX,

there, Madison and Emma are buried in OK, In 1920 the whole clan was living
in Salem OR. On OK indian terr. web page is a copy of a autograph book of my
grandmothers.There are names of many people in the Greer county area that
signed it. You might look at it. Cora Wolfe Johnson My grandmother wedding
book actually.
