"Claude Wicker
Claude Wicker, 88, died Wednesday in a Fairview hospital. His funeral was held Satruday in the Camen Christian church. Elder Ray Bingham of Enid officiated, assisted by Rev. Virgil Eubanks, pastor of the Christian church, Carmen.
Burial was in the Carmen City Cemetery with the Wentworth Mortuary in charge.
Wicker is survived by his wife Elsie of the home; a son, Gail Wicker of Carmen; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren; three step grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two daughters, three sisters and two brothers.
Wicker was born July 1, 1887 in Coldwater, Kansas, and moved with his parents to a farm near Hennessey as a child. On March 15, 1908, he was married to Elsie Faulk in Helena. They had lived in the Helena, Goltry and Carmen communities since that time.
He was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Wicker was a retired farmer."
