I'm also researching The Henson surname. I'm looking for ancestors of Emma
Henson who married Newton Davis. Both died and their son Newton was adopted
by his grandparents who were James D. Henson and Mary Mandy Barber/Henson.
Newton Henson was born in Blaine county but I have found alot of his family
in Roger Mills County and some in Beckham County. I believe that Emma Henson
was born in Texas. I have no proof of her birth but I know that her brother
Elmer Greer Henson was born in Fort Worth Texas. If any of these names
sounds like a connection please let me know. Also I have discovered a web
page from Roger Mills County that has Henson surnames. Email me and I'll
send it to you.
