Man Succumbs to Illness Of Three Months In Oklahoma City.

Funeral services for Emmett William LANE,46,of Carter,were held Sunday
afternoon at 4 o'clock at the Pentecostal church in Carter with
Rev.OSBORN officiating.

Mr.LANES death terminated an illness of exactly three months.He died in
Oklahoma City Saturday.He was a laundry employee until the time his
health failed.The late Mr.LANE had resided in Beckham county ten years.He
was born April 3,1886 in Texas.

Immediate member of the family surviving Mr.LANE are the widow,Mrs.LANE
and two sons James Melvin and Clarence Embrey LANE.

Burial was made in the Carter cemetery.KILLOUGH-HULLUM funeral directors
of this city were in charge..
