John E.YANDELL was born March 23,1886 in Collin County,Texas,and died at
Carter,Oklahoma,Dec 23,1934,aged 48 years,and 9 months.

John came to Carter when but 12 or 18 years of age and remained in the
community until the time of his death.

He leaves to mourn his loss one half sister,five brothers and a host of
relatives and friends.

Mr.YANDELL was active in politics and was for some time precinct chairman
of the Democratic organization here.

He was well liked by all who knew him,and numbered his friends by his
acquaintances.

Funeral services were conducted at the Methodist Church Monday afternoon
at one o'clock by Rev.Jerry Osborn.Burial in the Carter cemetery.
