Bernard Pierce,the young infant of Bernard McCLUNG and wife,died here in
town at the home of A.P. McCLUNG,on Thursday night of last week,pneumonia
being the fatal malady that carried the little one away.

The infant was only thirteen days old but was idelxed by the young
parents who of course thought it was the only baby in the world.It was a
strong,healthy,fine looking baby but the fearful disease caused death in
a short while after striking the little tot.Its death was a hard blow for
the young parents to bear.

Burial was made in the Carter cemetery Friday evening.The funeral
services was conducted at the McCLUNG home by Rev.FITZGERALD of Brinkman.

This editor and family extend to the bereaved young parents our sincere
sympathy in their having to give up their darling little baby.We know it
was hard for them to give it up..
