LES MORGAN,82,died Tuesday in Elk City Nursing Home.Funeral services will
be Friday at 2 p.m.in the Carter First Baptist Church.Burial will be in
the Carter Cemetery under direction of Rose Chapel funeral service of Sayre.

Mr.MORGAN was born Sept.19,1906 in Brownwood,Texas.He moved with his
parents to the Roosevelt and Star community.He married Clara Catherine
COLLIN Nov.12,1933 at Elk City.

After their marriage they lived east of Carter in the Highway
community.He was a member of the Carter Baptist Church.He was preceded in
death by his parents and six brother and his wife.He is survived by:one
daughter,Judy SMITH,of Harlingen,Tex.;one grandson,Mike SMITH,Carter;one
sister,Velma STOOPS of Hobart..
