W.S.WITHERSPOON DIES

Mr.W.S.WITHERSPOON died at his home near Sweetwater on last Saturday,following an illness of several months.

Mr.WITHERSPOON had lived near Carter for several years,having moved to Sweetwater last fall.He has several children living here and a host of friends,and although had moved away really felt that this was his home.

All of his children were with him during his last hours.

The remains were laid to rest in the Carter cemetery Sunday afternoon where a large crowd was gathered to pay their last respects to a friend.

FRIDAY,May 4,1923

His sons,Grover and Lee came in from Blackwell,on last Friday and their wives came on Saturday.
