*********** IN MEMORIAM

Many hearts in and around Carter were sad last Sunday morning,March 4th,by the death of William A.YANDELL.

Uncle Bud,as he was known to all his friends and neighbors, was a pioneer settler, came to Beckham County thirty years ago,and has many old friends who grieve at his passing and will remember him for his kindness and good will toward his fellowman.

Uncle Bud was a devout Christian,a great bible student.and lived his life by that guide book.So to his loved ones we would say:Don't think of him as dead, but gone on that journey for which he has so long been preparing

"For the love of God is broader than the measure of man's mind,And the heart of the Eternal is most wonderfully kind."
