Subject: Bryan County Families -- Skeen, and Haynes

My Bryan Co. families are Skeen, and Haynes. Moses Skeen and his wife, Alice Haynes arrived in Bryan Co. about 1894/1895. They had seven children, Oscar, "Dollie", "Rosie", Andrew, Moses, John Henry, and Isom. Alice was the daughter of John Haynes and Mary Coplen Haynes. The elder Moses was the son of Moses Skeen and Mary Jane Vineyard Skeen, of Fannin Co., Texas (originally from Tennessee).

Several of the children lived in the southeastern section of Oklahoma for several years. I am very interested in anything on the Skeen or Haynes. I have little on Alice's family. I believe her to have had about five siblings, Roxie, John ?Doc, Susie, Frank Taylor, and Henry.
