Teresa: I got some funeral home records from the Bryan County Historical
Society. They have a lot of info on them. When my cousin & I were getting
stones for her grandparents and my greatgrandparents, they had our
(g)grandfather listed as being buried in 1914. The man was alive in 1945.
What had happened, he bought the lots in 1914 when my cousin's older brother
died. The grandparents weren't shown at all. We took the funeral home
records to the office at Highland and he contacted the City to have them
show where Margaret and Ed were buried.
Send me the names and if you haven't heard anything in a couple of weeks,
I'll be going back to Durant to see my aunt. Jacque
