G.D. 'Dutch' Bybee
January 10, 1996

Funeral services were held at 2:00 Saturday 13-Jan-1996 in the Presbyterian
Church of Colony, Washita county, Ok. for G.D. 'Dutch' Bybee, 83, who died
Wednesday 10-Jan-1996 in the Carnegie, Caddo county, Ok. Hospital. Officiating
was the Rev. Doyle Wilburn, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Apache.
Burial was in the Sappington Chapel Cemetery under the direction of the
Carnegie-Gragg-Smith Funeral Home of Carnegie.

Bybee was born 02-Dec-1912 in Alfalfa, Ok. to David and Mary Bybee. He
and the former Nora Fowler were married 10-Jan-1935 and she preceded him
in death in 1978. He married Ruby Sheets in 1979 and she preceded him in
death in 1981. He married Ruth Zimmerman 11-Mar-1988. He had farmed in
the Alfalfa and Cowden communities all his life.

Preceding him in death, besides Nora (Fowler) Bybee and Ruby (Sheets) Bybee,
were two brothers, one sister and two half-brothers. Survivors include
his wife, Ruth, of the home; one daughter, Gloria Hixon of Apache, Ok.;
three grandchildren, Wendi Caplinger and her husband, Tim of Cowden, Ok.,
Bobbi Sue and Garrett Hixon, both of Apache, Ok.; two step-sons, Don Sheets
of Oklahoma City, Ok., and Dale McCloud of Holdenville, Ok.; two step-daughters,
Joyce Hill of Carnegie, Ok., and Novalene Bynum of California; seven step-grandchildren
and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
