Seeking information on a Josephine WEST m. John N(?)JONES, had a son Isham
W. JONES b. 1885 in Delaware Cty (Now Ottawa Cty) near Narcissa Township/Miami
area. Isham m. Mary A. INGRAM b. 1886 Ark. Her mothers' maiden name is
Armstrong (Ark). Mary and Isham had two daughters born in Ottawa Cty (same
towns as father). Both girls' attended Miami High, older one graduated
in 1927. Believe they lived there until sometime in the 1930 then headed
for California. Isham died there in the 1950s Mary died in Oklahoma in
the 1950s. Josephines' name shows up on the Guion Miller Roll for compensation
to the Eastern Cherokees dated 1909. Can anyone help Older daughter if
Isham and Mary was named Eulalah W. and she married a Jackson sometime
prior to 1940 and had three children by him - he raised them she moved
on to another family.
