Date: Sun, 26 Nov 2000 07:03:46 EST
We took a little break this week to enjoy good food, but managed a couple of
new pages. Here's what is new this week at the Choctaw-Web :
GENEALOGY LESSONS
This week's genealogy lesson (no. 7) concerns the 1910 census. They were
taken at a time when the territory was being influxed by immigraants from all
over the world. Find out which ones and where they settled.

Words of Wisdom:
Live your life so that the fear of death can never enter your heart.
I found an inspiring piece by Shawnee chief Tecumseh and want to share it
with you. I believe you will want to bookmark this one and share it with
others, as I have.

New ancestor found:
We discovered a new and interesting branch on the Impson-Choctaw tree. Sam,
William A. Cobb came from Mississippi and grandson Lewis W. was born in
Indian Territory. He married Harriet Impson and they adopted many children,
including Lomans. William and Lewis were both preachers and were featured in
early day Chronicles of Oklahoma.
If you can add to this information, please email me as I would love to add
their genealogies to my site.
