Very interesting hearing from you. Pat can you give me any help with Yellow Treee Cemetery? Would love to have copies of any of your pictures. From what I have uncovered there is also a small school building somewhere very close to the area where the cemetery is located. This school was known as the Gray School House. Also believe that very close to the school house there are two graves where two Grays were buried.
Pat, where are your Lesters from? This has my interest. My second great grandfather, William Edward Gray was married in Raleigh Co., West Virginia, to Mildred "Milly" Lester. Milly's father was Chandler "Champ" Lester. Previous to WV the Grays and Lesters were from Floyd Co., Virginia. Champ Lester and John W. Gray (William Edward's father) both deeded some of their farm land to start the town of Lester, Raleigh Co., WV.
