Hi There;

I have just been sent a 1910 and a 1920 census that shows my great
grandfathers brother and family Jacob Tobias and Helena Köhn/Koehn
living in Taloga. Jacob was b March 12, 1859 in Antonofka, Volhynia,
Poish Russia. Helena(maiden name was also Köhn) was b December 1864 in
Polish Russia. They were m June 23, 1883 in Kansas. In the 1900 census
this family was living in Cimarran Twsp., Woods Co., Oklahoma, so they
moved to Taloga sometime after that.
The children of Jacob and Helena are:
1) Joseph b May 1886 in Kansas

2) Lucy b June 1889 in Kansas

3) Rudolph b August 6, 1891 in Kansas and d January 1968 in Taloga

4) Jonathan b December 1893 in Kansas

5) Frances b December 1897 in Kansas

6) Arnold b February 1900 in Kansas

7) Benjamin b 1902 in Oklahoma

8) Maranda b 1905 in Oklahoma

I would hazard a guess that some of these children married and raised
their families in the Taloga area. If anybody knows of any Koehn's that
might fit into this family or have any information about this family I
would be most grateful to hear from you.
