Announcing the new OK/IT GenWeb Special Project Page - Native American
Research Project @ http://www.rootsweb.com/~itgenweb/NARP/index.html.

Focus of this project is the 1891 Schedule of Allotments to the Cheyenne and
Arapaho Reservation area that includes Beckham, Blaine, Canadian, Custer,
Dewey, Ellis, Kingfisher, Roger Mills and Washita Counties.

Listing of the Kingfisher County allottees is complete.  In the mean time if
you have an ancestor allotted in one of the other counties, I'll be glad to
look-up the name(s) on the list of 3329 allottees.

Information from the 1891 Schedule of Allotments shows the Allotment Number,
Indian Name & English Name if either were known, Male or Female, Age and the
legal land description of the allotment.

This project also includes Birth, Marriage, Death Records and Heirs of an
Allottee so if you have an ancestor traced to the allotments, won't you
please visit and share your research?

County page, for all their assistance in this project.
